GOSHALA
PROTECTING THE COWS
According to the Hindu religion, it is stated that all the gods and goddesses are manisted
in the Gomata or the cow, and hence it is worshipped in all the temples, households, factories; it is worshipped by invoking the names of all the Gods. Even the sacred scriptures in Hinduism like Ramayana, Mahabharatha and Bhagwat Gita stressed the significance of cows in Hindu religion. But in this Kali Yuga, cow-slaughter has become so common in our Earth where once it was worshipped as God.
Sri Rajaji Swamigal, the Founder of Shree Lakshmi Kubera Perumal Temple, is maintaining Goshala - to protect this divine animal from being slaughtered. In this Goshala, every cow and calf are being nurtured with great love and care. Also, Go Puja is held often and this is done after Ganapathi Pooja is over.
